Berea coach Dammian Stepp started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Alexis Newman, 5-7 Jr. Abigail Beard, 5-9 Jr. Chesney Lovins, 5-5 Sr Isis Rodgers, and 5-6 Sr. Mati Stepp.  Madison Southern coach Josh Curtis countered with 5-11 Sr. Macie Daniels, 5-6 Sr. Morgan Flannery, 5-10 Jr. Bella Moberly, 5-4 8^th Grade Hadley French, and 5-5 Jr. Tara Wooten.

Madison Southern raced out to a 19-2 lead and was never threatened on their way to a 47-26 over Berea tonight.  Madison Southern shot 45.7% from the field including four of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Berea turnovers.  Berea shot 27.8% from the field including zero of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady Pirates connected on six of 19 free throws, pulled down 17 rebounds, and scored six points off 14 Madison Southern turnovers.

Morgan Flannery led Madison Southern with 17 points including seven of nine free throws, seven rebounds, and four assists.  Macie Daniels added 12 points and nine rebounds.  Hadley French recorded 11 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.

Abigail Beard led Berea with 12 points, two rebounds, and three steals.  Chesney Lovins added five points, six rebounds, and three steals.
