Henry Clay coach Ashley Garrard started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Lauren Thomas, 5-8 So. Lydia VanMeter, 5-11 Sr. Kennedy Williams, 5-2 Fr. Ariyana Sutton, and 5-8 So. Allison Stone.  Bryan Station coach Serena Sandusky countered with 5-11 So. Victory Sledge, 5-10 Sr. Tania Woodall, 5-11 So. Kailyn Gentry, 5-6 Jr. Emily Gomez, and 5-8 Fr. Jailenn Green.

 

Henry Clay defeated Bryan Station by the score of 58-55.  The score was tied eight times and there were five lead changes in the game.  Henry Clay shot 32.8% from the field including three of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 13 of 24 free throws, pulled down 50 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 25 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 35.2% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Defenders connected on 14 of 17 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 21 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Kennedy Williams led Henry Clay with 24 points including eight of 12 free throws, nine rebounds, and two assists.  Ariyana Sutton added 11 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  5-6 So. Timarri Miller recorded eight points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  Lauren Thomas pulled down 11 rebounds.

 

Tania Woodall led Bryan Station with 23 points including eight of eight free throws, nine rebounds, and three steals.  Jailenn Green added 13 points including four of six free throws, five rebounds, and four steals.  Emily Gomez recorded nine points, four rebounds, and four steals.
