Seneca coach Josh Leslie started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Marcel Railey, 6-0 Jr. Joshua Lewis, 6-4 Jr. Louie Tucker, 5-10 Sr. Delshawn Simms, and 5-10 Sr. Darian Floyd. Trinity coach Mike Szabo countered with 6-4 So. Alex Johnson, 6-3 So. Alex Jenkins, 6-5 Jr. Andrew Allen, 6-1 Jr. CJ Walls, and 6-2 Jr. Cam McClain.
Seneca rallied in the second half to defeat Trinity by the score of 71-63. There were four lead changes and eight ties in this game, Seneca shot 61.9% from the field including eight of 17 from the three point line. The Redhawks connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 13 Trinity turnovers. Trinity shot 45.3% from the field including six of 24 from beyond the arc. The Shamrocks connected on nine of 11 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored six points off nine Seneca turnovers.
Delshawn Simms led Seneca with 21 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, eight assists, and two steals. Joshua Lewis added 16 points including seven of eight free throws, three rebounds, and three assists. Louie Tucker recorded 12 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals. Darian Floyd chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets and three rebounds. 6-4 Jr. Elijah Price added 10 points and two assists.
CJ Walls led Trinity with 16 points including two three point baskets and three rebounds. Cam McClain added 12 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and five assists. Andrew Allen recorded 11 points. 6-2 So. Noah Lovan chipped in with 10 points, two rebounds, and two assists.
