Paul Laurence Dunbar rolled up 543 yards of total offense in a 47-20 victory over East Jessamine. Dunbar recorded 25 first downs and 543 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized 12 times for 109 yards and had one pass intercepted. East Jessamine recorded 13 first downs and 234 yards of total offense. The Jaguars were penalized six times for 55 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.
Cole Colony led Dunbar’s ground game with 175 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries. Amontae Flynn carried the ball seven times for 49 yards and a touchdown. Ethan Teall completed 22 of 41 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown. Ryan Browning completed his only pass for a 49 yard touchdown strike. Noah Chapman caught eight passes for 58 yards and a touchdown. J. Biggerstaff added six receptions for 110 yards, Mason Hayslett caught a 49 yard touchdown pass. J. Commodore returned three punts for 62 yards with a long return of 48 yards. Noah Chapman returned two kickoffs for 83 yards with a long return of 50 yards. Desmond Duncan returned one kickoff for 31 yards. Mason Hayslett led the defense with six solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards. Kyan Miller added five solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Ryan Browning recorded three solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards. Kaylib Nelson added three solo tackles and intercepted a pass.
Justin Hisle led East Jessamine’s ground game with 73 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. Justin Hisle completed 16 of 28 passes for 129 yards and one touchdown with one interception. D. Parker-Morton caught six passes for 10 yards. Isaac Johnson added five receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown. Nathan Rice caught two passes for 41 yards. Shawn Reed returned four kickoffs for 48 yards with a long return of 39 yards. Kemonte Braxton returned three kickoffs for 34 yards with a long return of 30 yards. T. Braxton led the defense with seven solo tackles. Skyler Plummer added six solo and one assisted tackles. Kemonte Braxton recorded five solo and three assisted tackles. D. Parker-Morton intercepted a pass.
