Scott County defeated Ballard by the score of 22-15 by outscoring the Bruins 15-0 in the final quarter. Scott County recorded 17 first downs and 323 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized nine times for 77 yards and lost two fumbles. Ballard recorded nine first downs and 251 yards of total offense. They were penalized six times for 50 yards and lost one fumble.
Jacob Fryman led Scott County’s ground game with 82 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries. Thomas Feickert carried the ball nine times for 47 yards. Jackson Damron recorded 44 yards on six carries. Ellis Huguely added 41 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries. Andrew Hickey completed nine of 14 passes for 121 yards. DaQuis Brown caught seven passes for 89 yards. Thomas Feickert added one reception for 25 yards. DaQuis Brown returned one punt for 25 yards and one kickoff for 17 yards. Luke Valencia returned one punt for 19 yards. Logan Jones returned two punts for 14 yards and two kickoffs for 39 yards. Luke Valencia led the defense with four solo and five assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards and recovered a fumble he returned for 33 yards. Jackson Damron added five solo tackles.
Journey Wyche led Ballard’s ground game with 25 yards on seven carries. T. Hawkins completed 13 of 20 passes for 181 yards and one touchdown. Grant Berkley caught six passes for 52 yards. Jaden Minkins added four receptions for 54 yards. Ethan Barnett caught two passes for 71 yards and a touchdown. Jaden Minkins returned one punt for six yards and Lennox Jackson returned four kickoffs for 73 yards with a long return of 25 yards. Lennox Jackson and Jamarques Frank led the defense with 10 solo tackles each. Gavin Willis recorded five solo and five assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss and recovered a fumble. C. Norfleet recorded five solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards and recovered a fumble he returned 18 yards for a touchdown.
