Tates Creek defeated Boone County by the score of 46-19. Tates Creek recorded 20 first downs and 398 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized 10 times for 100 yards. Boone County recorded 20 first downs and 336 yards of total offense. The Rebels were penalized six times for 59 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.
M. Smith led Tates creek’s ground game with 183 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. Theo Jones carried the ball nine times for 105 yards and two touchdowns. Andrew Witherington completed five of 13 passes for 94 yards and two touchdowns. Ke’shon Douthitt caught three passes for 86 yards and a touchdown. Thomas Seigler caught a five yard touchdown pass. Kobe Middleton returned one kickoff for 24 yards. Ke’shon Douthitt returned one kickoff for 20 yards and returned one punt for seven yards. Kobe Middleton scored on a 94 yard blocked field goal return. Cooper Jackson led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. Logan Julian added five solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards. LaQwuan Newby recorded five solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards. Kobe Middleton added one solo and four assisted tackles with one fumble recovery and one interception.
Jamarion Hocker led Boone County’s ground game with 104 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. Jamarion Hocker completed 16 of 25 passes for 220 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Landen Fuqua caught five passes for 55 yards. Braden McCarty added four receptions for 98 yards and a touchdown. Tyler Whipple added four receptions for 34 yards. Elijah Jonathan recorded three receptions for 33 yards. Braden McCarty returned one kickoff for 82 yards. Seth Moran returned two kickoffs for 75 yards with a long return of 59 yards. Tyler Whipple returned two kickoffs for 41 yards with a long return of 23 yards. Kaleb Byndon returned one kickoff for 23 yards and Jayden Jackson returned a kickoff for 15 yards. Cole Hardy led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Noah Haynes added four solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. Kaleb Byndon recorded five solo tackles.
