Lexington Christian Academy defeated Henry Clay by the score of 50-14. LCA recorded 16 first downs and 406 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized 12 times for 136 yards and had a pass intercepted. Henry Clay recorded 12 first downs and 158 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized five times for 43 yards and had two passes intercepted.
Jveontae Emerson led LCA’s ground game with 93 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. Mac Darland carried the ball five times for 57 yards. Cutter Boley completed 16 of 22 passes for 208 yards and four touchdowns with one interception. Evan Brown caught six passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns. Drew Nieves added five receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown. Will Rich caught a 27 yard touchdown pass. Evan Brown returned two punts for 73 yards with a long return of 71 yards and returned one kickoff for 32 yards. Nate Barnhardt returned two punts for 34 yards with a long return of 25 yards and returned one kickoff for 13 yards. Major Brown led the defense with seven solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards. Hunter Adams added two solo and five assisted tackles. Jackson Dillow intercepted a pass he returned for 11 yards. Evan Brown added two solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards.
Jacob Childress led Henry Clay’s ground game with 105 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries. Landon Merriman completed seven of 16 passes for 53 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions. Jack Kreutzer caught two passes for 18 yards. Malcolm Paul added two receptions for 11 yards. L. Barrentine caught an 11 yard touchdown pass. Scyler Hersey returned four kickoffs for 60 yards with a long return of 22 yards. Jack Kreutzer returned three kickoffs for 23 yards with a long return of 17 yards. Luke Bailey returned one kickoff for 12 yards. L. Barrentine led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss. Jayden Bailey added four solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Aly Gueye recorded four solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.
