Lexington Catholic coach Lee Tegt started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Katherine Truitt, 5-6 Jr. Brooke Russell, 5-9 Jr. Lydia Kennedy, 54 Sr. Mary Martin Hampton, and 5-7 Sr. Lucy Nash. Lincoln County coach James Jackson countered 5-11 Sr. Chloe Ralston, 5-9 Sr. Mercedes Hensley, 6-0 Sr. Emily Estes, 5-4 Jr. Macey Rice, and 5-6 Sr. Emmie Releford.

Lexington Catholic outscored Lincoln Couty 17-8 in the third quarter on their way to a 49-43 victory. Lexington Catholic shot 29.4% from the field including five of 20 from the three point line. The Lady Knights connected on four of 11 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 32 Lincoln County turnovers. Lincoln County shot 45.9% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc. The Lady Patriots connected on seven f 16 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 22 Lexington Catholic turnovers. (Note: Lexington Catholic attempted 68 shots from the field while Lincoln County attempted 37 shots).

Katherine Truitt led Lexington Catholic with 14 points, 12 rebounds, two blocked shots, and four steals. Mary Martin Hampton added 14 points, 11 rebounds, and five steals. Lyda Kennedy recorded nine points, six rebounds, five assists, two blocked shots, and three steals.

Emily Estes led Lincoln County with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocked shots. Macey Rice added nine points and three steals. Chloe Ralston chipped in with eight points and Mercedes Hensley recorded four points, 10 rebounds, and four assists.
