DuPont Manual coach Ashley Franklin started the following lneup: 5-7 Sr. Lexi Weaver, 5-8 Sr. Jakayla Thompson, 5-8 So. Morgan White, 5-4 Sr. Sydne Tolbert, and 5-6 Fr. Ashlinn James. Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 6-0 So. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-10 Jr. Reagan Bender, 6-3 Jr. Angelina Pelayo, 5-8 Jr. Claire Russell, and 58 Sr. Triniti Ralston.

Sacred Heart Academy trailed 51-46 after three quarters but outscored DuPont Manual 22-7 in the final quarter to earn a 68-58 victory. Sacred Heart shot 53.1% from the field including four of 14 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 11 DuPont Manual turnovers. DuPont Manual shot 37.3% from the field including nine of 20 from beyond the arc. The Lady Crimsons connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 13 Sacred Heart turnovers.

ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart with 27 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Reagan Bender added 16 points ncluding two three point baskets and five assists. Angelina Pelayo recorded 13 points and five rebounds. Triniti Ralston added six points, four rebounds, and seven assists.

Jakayla Thompson led DuPont Manual with 21 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and two steals. Ashlinn James added 13 points including two three point baskets. Sydne Tolbert recorded 11 points and three assists. Lexi Weaver chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets.
