Henry Clay coach Ashley Garrard started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Allison Stone, 5-8 Jr. Lydia Van Metre, 5-10 Jr. Elizabeth Nelson, 5-2 So. Ariyana Sutton, and 5-6 Jr. Timarri Miller. Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-11 So. Savannah Simpson, 5-8 So. Belle Combs, 5-10 So. Tess Nelson, 5-5 Fr. Anna Clay Denton, and 5-5 Sr, Gracyn Grantz.

Savannah Simpson hit a last second three point basket to give Lafayette a 54-52 victory over Henry Clay. There were seven ties and seven lead changes in this game. Lafayette shot 45.8% from the field including seven of 16 from the three point line. The Lady Generals connected on three of five free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 20 Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 44.7% from the field including seven of 20 from beyond the arc. The Lady Blue Devils connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 Lafayette turnovers.

Gracyn Grantz led Lafayette with 15 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and three steals. Savannah Simpson added 14 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and four steals. Tess Nelson recorded 12 points, four assists, and three steals. Belle Combs chipped in with seven points and four rebounds. Anna Clay Denton recorded six points on two three point baskets, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Lydia Van Metre led Henry Clay with 17 points including four three point baskets. Timarri Miller added 15 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Allison Stone recorded 13 points, five rebounds, two assists, and three steals.
