East Jessamine coach Steve Bridenbaugh started the following lineup: 5-4 Sr. Reece Evans, 5-5 Sr. Hannah Heiser, 5-9 Sr. Caley Banks, 5-4 So. Anttinaesha Yvette Faulkner, and 5-5 Jr. Shelby Luong. Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-10 Fr. Kierstin Young, 5-8 So. Allison Mosby, 5-8 Sr. Tyra Young, 5-7 So. Maleiyah Moore, and 5-7 So. N’mya Summers.

Scott County raced out to a 24-9 first quarter lead on their way to a 68-44 victory over East Jessamine. Scott County shot 42.4% from the field including five of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 18 East Jessamine turnovers. East Jessamine shot 21.5% from the field including two of 18 from beyond the arc. The Lady Jaguars connected on 14 of 20 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 21 Scott County turnovers.

N’mya Summers led Scott County with 18 points and six rebounds. Tyra Young added 16 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, and four assists. 5-6 Fr. Belle Banner recorded 14 points, five rebounds, and seven blocked shots. Maleiyah Moore chipped in with nine points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, and six assists. Kierstin Young recorded two points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.

5-8 Sr. Iesha Dean led East Jessamine with 14 points and eight rebounds. Reece Evans added 12 points and three steals. Kyla Hunt-Kistner recorded nine points including seven of eight free throws.
