Purcell Marian (OH) coach Jamar Mosley started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Jayda Mosley, 5-7 Sr. Nicohl Dicks, 6-1 So. Dee Alexander, 5-7 So. Cy’Aira Miller, and 5-8 So. Ky’Aira Miller. Sacred Heart Academy Donna Moir countered with 6-0 So. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-10 Jr. Reagan Bender, 6-3 Jr. Angelina Pelayo, 5-8 Sr. Triniti Ralston, and 5-8 Jr. Claire Russell.

Purcell Marian led 55-52 after three quarters but Sacred Heary outscored the Cavaliers 30-10 in the final quarter to earn an 82-65 victory. There were two lead changes and five ties in this game. Sacred Heart Academy shot 58.3% from the field including eight of 17 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 18 of 22 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 22 Purcell Marian turnovers. Purcell Marian shot 40.4% from the field including six of 21 from beyond the arc. The Cavaliers connected on 17 of 21 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 21 Sacred Heart turnovers.

ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart Academy with 27 points including three three point baskets, 10 of 10 free throws, 12 rebounds, six assists, an points d six steals. Reagan Bender added 26 points including five three point baskets, four rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots, and two steals. Angelina Pelayo recorded 16 points, four rebounds, and three steals.

Dee Alexander led Purcell Marian with 42 points including 13 of 14 free throws, nine rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Ky’Aira Miller added 12 points inclusing two three point baskets, five rebounds, and three assists.
