Bryan Station coach Serena Sandusky started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Evelyn Real, 5-8 So. Jailenn Green, 5-11 Jr. Kailyn Gentry, 5-4 Jr. Chloe Do, and 5-6 Sr. Makari Murphy. Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-8 So. Allison Mosby, 5-7 Sr. Tyra Young, 6-0 Fr. Kierstin Young, 5-6 So. Maleiyah Moore, and 5-7 So. N’mya Summers.
Bryan Station defeated Scott County by the score of 65-62. There were eight lead changes and four ties in this game. Bryan Station shot 42.3% from the field including nine of 22 from the three point line. The Lady Defenders connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 17 Scott County turnovers. Scott County shot 44% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on 14 of 17 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 17 Bryan Station turnovers.
5-6 Fr. Akiyah Wade led Bryan Station with 21 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and three steals. Jailenn Green added 20 points including four three point baskets, three rebounds, and two steals. Kailyn Gentry pulled down 11 rebounds.
N’mya Summers led Scott County with 23 points, five rebounds, two assists, and four steals. Maleiyah Moore added 16 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Tyra Young recorded 10 points, four rebounds, and three assists.
