Madison Southern coach Josh Curtis started the following lineup: 5-10 Fr. Laci Sandlin, 5-5 So. Ashlan Estep, 5-11 Sr. Bella Moberly, 5-4 Fr. Hadley French, and 5-7 Sr. Tara Wooten. Madison Central coach Scott True countered with 5-9 Sr. Chloe Freeman, 5-6 Jr. Eden Carter, 5-10 Jr. Bailey Hensley, 5-7 So. Brittany Campbell, and 5-5 So. Nataya Strader.

Madison Central led 18-17 at halftime and pulled away in the second half for a 48-35 over Madison Southern. Madison Central shot 44.2% from the field including two of nine from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 22 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 31.8% from the field including three of 18 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on four of nine free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 19 Madison Central turnovers.

Bailey Hensley led Madison Central with 17 points, nine rebounds, and two steals. Nataya Strader added 10 points, five rebounds, and five steals. Eden Carter recorded 10 points and two assists. Brittany Campbell chipped in withfive points, four rebounds, and two steals. Olivia Metcalfe added four points and Brooke Campbell had a “busy” stat line with two points, three rebounds, three assists, and four steals.

Laci Sandlin led Madison Southern with 11 points and seven rebounds. Hadley French added nine points, two assists, and three steals. 5=8 Sr. Megan Correll recorded six points and six rebounds.
