Graves County coach Lyndon Dunning started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Lilly Hayden, 5-10 Sr. Conlee Spann, 6-2 Sr. Carley Riley, 5-7 So. Hannah Glisson, and 5-8 Jr. Morgan Alexander. Madison Central coach Scott True countered with 5-9 Sr. Chloe Freeman, 5-6 So. Nataya Strader, 5-10 Jr. Bailey Hensley, 5-7 So. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 Jr. Eden Carter
Graves County defeated Madison Central by the score of 38-32. There were three ties and four lead changes in the game. Graves County shot 30.6% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored five points off eight Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 24.5% from the field including four of 21 from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on four of 12 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored seven points off 12 Graves County turnovers. Nataya Strader and Chloe Freeman led the game early with injuries.
Morgan Alexander led Graves County with 14 points including four three point baskets, six rebounds, and two assists. Hannah Glisson added 14 points including five of seven free throws, and four rebounds. Conlee Spann recorded six points including four of four free throws and two rebounds. Carley Riley pulled down seven rebounds.
5-7 Jr. Olivia Metcalfe led Madison Central with eight points and six rebounds. Bailey Hensley added seven points, 14 rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots. 5-7 So. Brooke Campbell recorded five points and four rebounds. Brittany Campbell added four points, three rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
