Conner coach Michelle Gambrel started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Aubrey Fisher, 5-4 Sr. Kelsee Simpson, 5-11 Sr. Juliet Strange, 5-5 Sr. Emily McGraw, and 5-7 Jr. Anna Hamilton. Perry County Central coach Misty McAlarnis countered with 5-8 Sr. Kendra Lawson, 5-7 So. Shyanne Couch, 5-10 So. Kyra McAlarnis, 5-4 Sr. Lexie Mullins, and 5-5 Jr. Emmalee Neace.
Conner defeated Perry County Central by the score of 68-52. Conner shot 59.5% from the field including eight of 13 from the three point line. The Lady Cougars connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 13 points off nine Perry County Central turnovers. Perry County Central shot 37.8% from the field including eight of 19 from beyond the arc. The Lady Commodores connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored seven points off nine Conner turnovers.
Anna Hamilton led Conner with 19 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, six assists, and two steals. Juliet Strange added 17 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists. Kelsee Simpson recorded nine points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots. 5-8 Fr. Izelee Kerns chi[[ed in with seven points.
Emmalee Neace led Perry County Central with 21 points including two three point baskets, seven of 11 free throws, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Kyra McAlarnis added 16 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and three assists.
