Rockcastle County coach Chrysti Noble started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Keelee King, 5-6 Jr. Haven King, 6-1 Jr. Talynne Shearer, 5-3 Sr. Karlee Smith, and 5-10 Jr. Camryn Cash. South Oldham coach Gene Heffington countered with 5-8 Jr. Ella Morrison, 5-7 Jr. Chloe John, 5-9 Sr. Audra Clark, 5-5 Fr. Jaelyn Money, and 5-7 Jr. Sydney Hall.
Rockcastle County defeated South Oldham by the score of 62-33. Rockcastle County shot 51% from the field including four of 11 from the three point line. The Lady Rockets connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 19 South Oldham turnovers. South Oldham shot 25% from the field including two of 17 from beyond the arc. The Lady Dragons connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored seven points off 19 Rockcastle County turnovers.
Talynne Shearer led Rockcastle County with 16 points, five rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Keelee King added 14 points including four three point baskets and three rebounds. 5-10 Fr. Macy Spivey recorded 10 points and eight rebounds. Haven King added six points, eight rebounds, and three assists.
Ella Morrison led South Oldham with 12 points including two three point baskets and two rebounds. Sydney Hall added eight points. Audra Clark and 5-8 Sr. Aliyah Dickamore each pulled down six rebounds.
