Franklin County coach Joey Thacker started the following lineup: 6-2 So, Juliana Frazee, 6-2 Jr. Rachel Shropshire, 6-4 Sr. Jhaven Meade, 5-5 Fr. Logan Kennedy, and 6-0 Sr. Jazmin Chambers. Assumption coach Stacy Pendleton countered with 5-7 Jr. Taryn Morris, 5-6 Jr. Geriann Ackermann, 6-0 Jr. Delaney Cooper, 5-5 Jr. Zoe Thompson, and 5-6 So. Lauren Campisano.

Assumption led Franklin County 46-32 at halftime but had to withstand a Franklin County rally to earn a 73-71 overtime victory over the Lady Flyers. Assumption shot 51.7% from the field including 10 of 19 from the three point line. The Rockets connected on three of seven free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and committed 17 turnovers. Franklin County shot 40.6% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc. The Lady Flyers connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and committed 14 turnovers.

Delaney Cooper led Assumption with 18 points, five rebounds, and two blocked shots. Geriann Ackermann added 17 points including three three point baskets, and six rebounds. Zoe Thompson recorded 11 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds. Lauren Campisano added 11 points and 12 assists.

Juliana Frazee led Franklin County with 22 points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots. Jazmin Chambers added 14 points including two three point baskets and three assists. Jhaven Meade recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots. Rachel Shropshire chipped in with six points on two three point baskets and three assists.
