Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 6-0 So. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-10 Jr, Reagan Bender, 5-8 Jr. Claire Russell, 5-8 Sr. Triniti Ralston, and 5-9 Jr. Emi-Lee Howe. Frederick Douglass coach Daryl Moberly countered with 5-9 So. Amayah Maxwell, 5-9 Sr. Jermyra Christian, 6-2 Jr. Ayanna-Sarai Darrington, 5-4 So. Kate Baker, and 5-7 So. Niah Rhodes.

Sacred Heart Academy outscored Frederick Douglass 19-8 in the second quarter on their way to a 60-50 victory. There were four lead changes and one tie in this game. Sacred Heart shot 46.3% from the field including three of 19 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 15 Frederick Douglass turnovers. Frederick Douglass shot 30.2% from the field including eight of 28 from beyond the arc. The Lady Broncos connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored eight points off 16 Sacred Heart turnovers.

ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart with 18 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and two steals. Reagan Bender added 18 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, six assists, and three steals. 6-3 Jr. Angelina Pelayo recorded nine points, six rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots. Triniti Ralston chipped in with sive points, five rebounds, and five assists.

Niah Rhodes led Frederick Douglass with 16 points including four three point baskets, and four rebounds. Jermyra Christian added 14 points, two rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Ayanna-Sarai Darrington added eight points, six rebounds, and four steals. Kate Baker added seven points and Amayah Maxwell recorded three points and 10 rebounds.
