Sayre coach Eric Kinder started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Kylee Dennis, 5-6 Sr. Sophia Richardson, 5-8 Jr. Lauren Miller, 5-5 Fr. Kathryn Kinder, and 5-6 Jr. Toko Ashida. Henry Clay coach Ashley Garrard countered with 5-9 Jr. Allison Stone, 5-8 Jr. Lydia Van Metre, 5-8 Zjr. Emily Johnson, 5-2 So. Ariyana Sutton, and 5-6 Jr. Timarri Miller.

Henry Clay defeated Sayre 68-61 in overtime. There were nine lead changes and 12 ties in this game. Henry Clay shot 42% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line. The Lady Blue Devils connected on 21 of 24 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 11 Sayre turnovers. Sayre shot 44.7% from the field including four of 18 from beyond the arc. The Lady Spartans connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 Henry Clay turnovers.

Timarri Miller led a balanced Henry Clay scoring attack with 16 points including six of six free throws, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Ariyana Sutton added 15 points, four rebounds, and two steals. Allison Stone recorded 10 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Lydia Van Metre chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds. 5-9 So. Amari Sims added eight points, three rebounds, and two assists.

Kylee Dennis led Sayre with 33 points including two three point baskets, 11 of 14 free throws, seven rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Sophia Richardson added 20 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and two assists.
