Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Tyra Young, 5-7 So. Maleiyah Moore, 5-10 Fr. Kierstin Young, 5-7 So. N’mya Summers, and 5-8 So. Allison Mosby. Sayre coach Eric Kinder countered with 5-11 Sr. Kylee Dennis, 5-7 Sr. Sophia Richardson, 6-1 So. Caroline Kinkead, 5-5 Fr, Kathryn Kinder, and 5-8 Jr. Lauren Miller.

 Scott County defeated Sayre by the score of 65-58. Scott County shot 44.3% from the field including eight of 25 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on three of nine free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 Sayre turnovers. Sayre shot 39.3% from the field including five of 23 from beyond the arc. The Lady Spartans connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 20 Scott County turnovers.


Maleiyah Moore led Scott County with 23 points including five three point baskets. Kierstin Young added 14 points and nine rebounds. Tyra Young recorded 13 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and three blocked shots. N’mya Summers chipped in with eight points, eight rebounds, and two steals.


Kylee Dennis led Sayre with 19 points including seven of 10 free throws, four rebounds, three blocked shots, and five steals. Sophia Richardson added 18 points including three three point baskets. Kathryn Kinder recorded seven points, 10 rebounds, and two assists. Caroline Kinkead chipped in with six points, six rebounds, and two steals. 5-6 Jr. Toko Ashida added six points on two three point baskets and two steals.
