Great Crossing coach Steve Page started the following lineup: 6-5 So. Vince Dawson III, 6-0 So. Christian Martin, 6-11 So. Malachi Moreno, 5-9 So. Junius Burrell, and 6-4 So. Gage Richardson. George Rogers Clark coach Josh Cook countered with 6-4 Sr. Jerone Morton, 6-2 Jr. JP Gaines. 6-8 Sr. Trent Edwards, 5-11 Jr. Reshaun Hampton, and 5-11 Sr. Sam Parrish.

George Rogers Clark raced out to a 14-0 lead and held off a Great Crossing rally to earn a 52-51 victory. GRC shot 40% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine Great Crossing turnovers. Great Crossing shot 39.3% from the field including three of 11 fro beyond the arc. The Warhawks connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored six points off eight GRC turnovers.

Jerone Morton led GRC with 17 points and five rebounds. Sam Parrish added 12 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and four assists. Reshaun Hampton recorded 10 points, six rebounds, and two steals. Trent Edwards chipped in with eight points, three rebounds, and four blocked shots.

6-7 Jr. Jeremiah Godfrey led Great Crossing with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Junius Burrell added 18 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds. Malachi Moreno recorded five points, 15 rebounds, and six blocked shots.
