Male coach Tim Haworth started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Demetrius White, 6-2 Fr. Cole Edelen, 6-5 So. Jayson Gasaway, 5-11 Sr. Jack Edelen, and 5-11 Jr. Max Gainey. Lexington Catholic Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Sr. Hudson Sparks, 6-5 Jr. Tyler Doyle, 7-1 Sr. Reece Potter, 6-0 Jr. John Reinhart, and 6-3 Jr. Brody Turner.

Lexington Catholic led 50-49 after three quarters and pulled away in the final quarter to earn a 69-55 victory over Male. There were eight lead changes and six ties in this game. Lexington Catholic shot 63.4% from the field including nine of 15 from the three point line. The Knights connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 10 Male turnovers. Male shot 43.5% from the field including 11 of 26 from beyond the arc. The Bulldogs connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 11 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Hudson Sparks led Lexington Catholic with 24 points including five three point baskets, six rebounds, and five assists. Tyler Doyle added 16 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and seven assists. Reece Potter recorded 11 points and five rebounds. John Reinhart chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets.

Cole Edelen led Male with 14 points including four three point baskets. Demetrius White added 12 points including two three point baskets. Max Gainey recorded eight points including two three point baskets. Jack Edelen chipped in with six points, five rebounds, and three assists. Jayson Gasaway added six points including two three point baskets and five rebounds. 6-2 So. Antonio Harris recorded six points and two rebounds.
