Conner coach Matthew Otte started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Ayden Lohr, 6-3 Sr. Daniel Campbell, 6-3 Sr. Grant Reece, 5-11 Sr. Dalton Kramer, and 6-0 Sr. Landen Hamilton. Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz countered with 6-2 Sr. Kascyl McGillis, 6-2 Jr. Brady Hussey, 6-3 Sr. Aiden Jones, 6-1 Sr. Evan Ipsaro, and 5-10 Fr. Athens McGillis.

Conner defeated Covington Catholic by the score of 74-68. There were four lead changes and five ties in this game. Conner shot 42,9% from the field including seven of 22 from the three point line. The Cougars connected on 25 of 30 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 11 points off eight Covington Catholic turnovers. Covington Catholic shot 35.9% from the field including 12 of 34 from beyond the arc. The Colonels connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored nine points off 12 Conner turnovers.

Dalton Kramer led Conner with 21 points including four three point baskets, seven of 10 free throws, eight rebounds, and two assists. Landen Hamilton added 20 points including nine of 10 free throws, and two rebounds. Ayden Lohr recorded 11 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Daniel Campbell chipped in with six points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Grant Reece added seven points and four rebounds. 6-6 Jr. Ben Fay recorded six points, four rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Evan Ipsaro led Covington Catholic with 24 points including three three point baskets, nine rebounds, and eight assists. Kascyl McGillis added 23 points including five three point baskets. 6-6 Sr. Colin Detzel recorded six points on two three point baskets. Brady Hussey added four points, 11 rebounds, and three assists.
