Madison Central vs. Great Crossing (Boys)

Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Jaylen Davis, 6-3 Sr. Jayden West, 6-7 Sr. Robby Todd, 5-11 Jr. Parker Mullins, and 6-2 Jr. Eli Steele. Great Crossing coach Steve Page countered with 6-7 Jr. Jeremiah Godfrey, 6-5 So. Vince Dawson III, 6-11 So. Malachi Moreno, 5-9 So. Junius Burrell, and 6-4 So. Gage Richardson.

Great Crossing outscored Madison Central 22-11 in the third quarter on their way to a 64-53 victory. Great Crossing shot 57.7% from the field including two of 10 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on two of nine free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored eight points off seven Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 37% from the field including seven of 24 from beyond the arc. The Indians connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Great Crossing turnovers.

Vince Dawson III led Great Crossing with 18 points. Junius Burrell added 15 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Jeremiah Godfrey recorded 10 points and four rebounds. Malachi Moreno chipped in with seven points, 13 rebounds, and five blocked shots.

Jayden West led Madison Central with 20 points including two three point baskets, and five rebounds. Jaylen Davis added 19 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Robby Todd recorded nine points including two three point baskets and five rebounds. Eli Steele pulled down nine rebounds,
