Madison Central coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Eden Carter, 5-7 So. Brooke Carter, 5-10 Jr. Bailey Hensley, 5-7 So. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 So. Nataya Strader. Lexington Catholic coach Lee Tegt countered with 5-10 Sr. Katherine Truitt, 5-6 Jr. Brooke Russell, 5-9 Jr. Lydia Kennedy, 5-4 Sr. Mary Martin Hampton, and 5-7 Sr. Lucy Nash.

Madison Cental defeated Lexington Catholic tonight by the score of 72-42. Madison Central shot 58.3% from the field including three of seven from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on 13 of 17 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 16 Lexington Catholic turnovers. Lexington Catholic shot 31.3% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Knights connected on 10 of 19 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 18 Madison Central turnovers.

Bailey Hensley led Madison Central with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists. Brittany Campbell added 13 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Nataya Strader recorded 11 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Brooke Campbell chipped in with five points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Eden Carter recorded seven points and three rebounds.

Katherine Truitt led Lexington Catholic with 19 points and five rebounds. Mary Martin Hampton added 13 points, three rebounds, three assists, and six steals.
