Madison Central vs. West Jessamine (Boys)

Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Jayden West, 6-2 Jr. Eli Steele, 6-7 Sr. Robby Todd, 5-6 So. Landon Ray, and 6-5 Sr. Jaylen Davis. West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-4 Sr. Drew Marshall, 6-3 Sr. Daniel Waters, 6-5 Sr. Gavin Salva, 6-2 Sr. Brett Bush, and 6-2 Sr. Jacob Jones.

Madison Central outscored West Jessamine 31-18 in the third quarter on their way to an 85-63 victory. The score was tied three times and there were seven lead changes in the game. Madison Central shot 48.3% from the field including 13 of 26 from the three point line. The Indians connected on 16 of 18 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 18 points off nine West Jessamine turnovers. West Jessamine shot 46.4% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc. The Colts connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored nine points off eight Madison Central turnovers.

Robby Todd led Madison Central with 31 points including six three point baskets, five of five free throws, 11 rebounds, and four assists. Todd was 10 of 13 from the field including six of seven from beyond the arc. Jayden West added 26 points including two three point baskets, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots and entertained the crowd with some high flying dunks. Jaylen Davis recorded 19 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, six assists, and three steals.

Jacob Jones led West Jessamine with 14 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Daniel Waters added 14 points and four rebounds. Gavin Salva recorded 11 points and three rebounds. Drew Marshall chipped in with nine points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and four assists. Brett Bush recorded seven points, six rebounds, and two steals.
