Lloyd Memorial coach Michael Walker started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Jeremiah Israel, 6-0 So. Isaiah Sebastian, 6-8 So. EJ Walker, 5-9 So. Elijah Collins, and 6-4 Sr. Joe Cooley.. Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz countered with 6-3 Jr. Aiden Jones, 6-2 Sr. Kascyl McGillis, 6-2 Jr. Brady Hussey, 5-10 Fr. Athens McGillis, and 6-1 Sr. Evan Ipsaro,

Covington Catholic pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Lloyd Memorial by the score of 54-43. There were 11 lead changes and three ties in this game. Covington Catholic shot 39.2% from the field including two of 11 from the three point line. The Colonels connected on 12 of 14 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 Lloyd Memorial turnovers. Lloyd Memorial shot 36.1% from the field including six of 13 from beyond the arc. The Juggernauts connected on 11 of 12 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 Covington Catholic turnovers.

Evan Ipsaro led Covington Catholic with 25 points including seven of seven free throws, seven rebounds, and four assists. Brady Hussey added 15 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds.

Jeremiah Israel led Lloyd Memorial with 20 points including four three point baskets, six of six free throws, and four rebounds. EJ Walker added eight points and eight rebounds. Elijah Collins also scored eight points including two three point baskets. 5-10 Sr. Mykel King recorded six points and five rebounds.
