Sayre coach Eric Kinder started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Kylee Dennis, 5-7 Fr. Ellie Oldham, 5-10 Fr. Lucie Pittman, 5-6 Jr. Toko Ashida, and 5-5 Fr. Kathryn Kinder. Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-5 Sr. Kelsie Hall, 5-6 Sr. Grace Moore, 5-8 Sr. Tyra Young, 5-2 So. Megan Mosby, and 5-7 So. N’mya Summers.

Sayre defeated Scott County by the score of 63-58. There were seven lead changes and four ties in this game. Sayre shot 32.9% from the field including nine of 27 from the three point line. The Lady Spartans connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 Scott County turnovers. Scott County shot 30.1% from the field including three of 21 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on 11 of 23 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 18 Sayre turnovers.

Kylee Dennis led Sayre with 30 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, four blocks, and six steals. 5-6 Jr. Juliette Longbottom added 18 points on six three point baskets and three rebounds. Kathryn Kinder recorded eight points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Lucie Pittman chipped in with four points, 15 rebounds, and two steals.

Tyra Young led Scott County with 19 points, 20 rebounds, and three blocked shots. 5-7 So. Maleiyah Moore added 12 points, six rebounds, and four steals. N’mya Summers recorded 12 points, six rebounds, and two steals. 6-0 Fr. Kierstin Young chipped in with three points and eight rebounds.
