Scott County coach Tim Glenn started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Nick Mosby, 6-1 Sr. Micah Glenn, 6-4 Sr. Eli Moody, 5-8 Sr. JZ Middleton, and 5-10 Sr. DaQuis Brown. Western Hills coach Geoff Cody countered with 6-5 So. Javeon Campbell, 6-3 Sr. David Jackson, 6-4 Sr. Walter Campbell, 5-11 Jr. Austin Stone, and 6-1 So. Elijah Thompson.
Western Hills defeated Scott County by the score of 83-68. Western Hills shot 63.8% from the field including two of six from the three point line. The Wolverines connected on 21 of 28 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 14 points off nine Scott County turnovers. Scott County shot 52.6% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc. The Cardinals connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 17 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 13 Western Hills turnovers.
Walter Campbell led Western Hills with 38 points including two three point baskets, 12 of 13 free throws, 16 rebounds, and three assists. Javeon Campbell added 20 points, nine rebounds, and three assists. Elijah Thompson recorded 11 points. David Jackson chipped in with eight points and three rebounds.
Nick Mosby led Scott County with 21 points, six rebounds, and two steals. DaQuis Brown added 17 points, four rebounds, seven assists, and two steals. Micah Glenn recorded 13 points, four rebounds, and two steals. JZ Middleton chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets and two rebounds.
