Madison Southern coach Josh Curtis started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Megan Correll, 5-5 So. Ashlan Estep, 5-11 Sr. Bella Moberly, 5-4 Fr. Hadley French, and 5-7 Sr. Tara Wooten. Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-5 Sr. Gracyn Grantz, 5-3 So. Kierstyn Kelly, 5-10 So. Tess Nelson, 5-4 8th Grade Layla Flynn, and 5-5 Fr. Anna Clay Denton.

Bella Moberly scored on a last second layup in overtime to give Madison Southern a 67-66 victory over Lafayette. Madison Southern trailed 38-24 at halftime but rallied to force overtime and won in overtime. There were eight lead changes and three ties in this game. Madison Southern shot 40% from the field including eight of 23 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 39.3% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc. The Lady Generals connected on 17 of 23 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 18 Madison Southern turnovers.

Bella Moberly led Madison Southern with 22 points, 13 rebounds, and two blocked shots. 5-10 Fr. Laci Sandlin added 16 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists. Hadley French recorded 14 points includi ng four three point baskets and two assists. Ashlan Estep chipped in with seven points and four assists. Tara Wooten added five points, nine rebounds, eight assists, and three steals.

Anna Clay Denton led Lafayette with 17 points including 11 of 12 free throws, two assists, and three steals. Gracyn Grantz added 11 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Kierstyn Kelly recorded 10 points including two three point baskets. 5-8 So. Belle Combs chipped in with eight points and three rebounds. Tess Nelson added seven points and two rebounds. 5-7 Jr. Jackie Tishibangi chipped in with six points and six rebounds. Layla Flynn recorded four points, six rebounds, eight assists, and four steals.
