Rockcastle County coach Chrysti Noble started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr, Keelee King, 5-10 Jr. Camryn Cash, 6-1 Jr. Talynne Shearer, 5-3 Sr. Karlee Smith, and 5-4 Jr. Haven King. Madison Southern coach Josh Curtis countered with 5-10 Fr. Laci Sandlin, 5-7 Sr. Jada Carter, 5-11 Sr. Bella Moberly, 5-4 Fr. Hadley French, and 5-5 So. Ashlan Estep. (Madison Southern were missing two starters tonight: Megan Correll and Tara Wooten).

Rockcastle County defeated Madison Southern by the score of 60-40. There were three ties and six lead changes in the game. Rockcastle County shot 51.1% from the field including two of nine from the three point line. The Lady Rockets connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 16 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 29.3% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored seven points off 12 Rockcastle County turnovers.

5-10 Fr. Macy Spivey led Rockcastle County with 18 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals in only 11 minutes of playing time. Talynne Shearer added 15 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Keelee King recorded 10 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.

Hadley French led Madison Southern with 13 points including three three point baskets. Laci Sandlin added nine points, four rebounds, and two assists. Bella Moberly recorded seven points and seven rebounds. Jada Carter chipped in with five points, seven rebounds, and two steals.
