Bowling Green coach Calvin Head started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. JaSiaya Franklin, 5-10 Sr. Saniyah Shelton, 5-11 So. Katy Smiley, 5-1 So. NaTaya Wardlow, and 5-9 Jr. Ryleigh Campbell. Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 6-0 So. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-10 Jr. Reagan Bender, 6-3 Jr. Angelina Pelayo, 5-8 Sr. Triniti Ralston, and 5-8 Jr. Claire Russell.
Sacred heart Academy pulled away in the second half to defeat Bowling Green by the score of 75-47. Sacred Heart Academy shot 45% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 11 Bowling Green turnovers. Bowling Green shot 36.6% from the field including two of eight from beyond the arc. The Purples connected on 15 of 29 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored six points off 13 Sacred Heart turnovers.
ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart with 19 points including two three point baskets, 10 rebounds, and two assists. Angelina Pelayo added 14 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Triniti Ralston recorded 14 points including two three point baskets, six of six free throws, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Reagan Bender chipped in with 12 points including two three point baskets, and three rebounds. 6-0 Jr. Abigail Wolff added eight points and four rebounds.
Saniyah Shelton led Bowling Green with nine points, seven rebounds, and two assists. 5-8 Sr. Taniya Bailey added nine points and three rebounds. Ryleigh Campbell recorded nine points and four rebounds. JaSiaya Franklin chipped in with six points.
