Assumption coach Stacy Pendleton started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Taryn Morris, 5-6 Jr. Geriann Ackermann, 6-0 Jr. Delaney Cooper, 5-5 Jr. Zoe Thompson, and 5-6 So. Lauren Campisano. Mercy Academy Nick Cann countered with 6-1 Sr, Emma Barnett, 5-10 Sr. Mary Smith, 6-2 So. Leah Macy, 5-5 So. Alyssa Murphy, and 5-7 So. Addison Becker.

The score was tied 32-32 at halftime but Mercy Academy pulled away in the second half for a 73-54 victory. There were two lead changes and five ties in this game. Mercy Academy shot 49.2% from the field including eight of 25 from the three point line. The Jaguars connected on three of three free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 18 Assumption turnovers. Assumption shot 47.6% from the field including six of 19 from beyond the arc. The Rockets connected on eight of nine free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 Mercy Academy turnovers.

Leah Macy led Mercy Academy with 26 points, 19 rebounds, four assists, and five steals. Mary Smith added 17 points including three three point baskets, seven assists, and two steals. Emma Barnett recorded 16 points including four three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists. Alyssa Murphy chipped in with 10 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Delaney Cooper led Assumption with 17 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Zoe Thompson added 13 points and five assists. Lauren Campisano recorded 11 points.
