Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 6-0 So. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-10 Jr. Reagan Bender, 6-3 Jr. Angelina Pelayo, 5-8 Sr. Triniti Ralston, and 5-8 Jr. Claire Russell. George Rogers Clark coach Robbie Graham countered with 6-1 So. Ciara Byars, 5-7 Sr. Trinity Gay, 5-11 Sr. Brianna Byars, 5-3 8th Grade Kennedy Stamper, and 5-7 Fr. Anaya Chestnut.

Trinity Ralston hit two free throws with four seconds remaining on the clock to give Sacred Heart Academy a 54-53 victory over George Rogers Clark. There were four lead changes and three ties in the game. Sacred Heart Academy shot 47.7% from the field including two of eight from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored six points off eight GRC turnovers. GRC shot 37.3% from the field including one of 10 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 14 Sacred Heart turnovers.

ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart Academy with 18 points, nine rebounds, three assists, three blocked shots, and four steals. Triniti Ralston added 13 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Angelina Pelayo recorded nine points, five rebounds, and four blocked shots. Reagan Bender chipped in with seven points, four rebounds, and two steals.

Brianna Byars led George Rogers Clark with 16 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Ciara Byars added 15 points including seven of 10 free throws, seven rebounds, and four assists. Kennedy Stamper recorded seven points, three rebounds, and two assists. Anaya Chestnut chipped in with seven points and five rebounds. Trinity Gay added six points and three rebounds.
