George Rogers Clark coach Josh Cook started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Tyleik Maxwell, 5-11 Jr. Reshaun Hampton, 6-8 Sr. Trent Edwards, 5-11 Sr. Sam Parrish, and 6-4 Sr. Jerone Morton, Madison Southern coach Bill Bevins countered with 6-5 Jr. Jay Rose, 6-1 Jr. Zach Hudson, 6-5 Sr. Brett Erslan, 5-8 So. Casen Nobbe, and 6-0 Jr. Braden Hudson.

George Rogers Clark held on late to capture a 76-73 road victory against Madison Southern.. There were eight ties and four lead changes in this game. GRC shot 50% from the field including eight of 22 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 13 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 50.8% from the field including eight of 21 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on three of four free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 GRC turnovers.

Sam Parrish led GRC with 26 points including three three point baskets, five of six free throws, nine rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Trent Edwards added 18 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, two assists, and three blocked shots. Jerone Morton recorded 18 points including seven of 11 free throws, five rebounds, and five assists.

Casen Nobbe led Madison Southern with 18 points including two three point baskets, five assists, and two steals. Jay Rose added 15 points and 10 rebounds. Braden Hudson recorded 15 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Zach Hudson added 14 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists. Brett Erslan recorded eight points, four rebounds, and two assists.
