Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 6-0 Fr. Kierstin Young, 5-7 So. Maleiyah Moore, 5-9 Sr. Tyra Young, 5-6 Fr. Belle Banner, and 5-7 So. N’mya Summers. Berea coach Dammian Stepp countered with 5-7 Jr. Sophie Brewer, 5-6 Jr. Mandy Newman, 6-0 Jr. Lauren Stepp, 5-1 Jr. Maddy King, and 5-7 Jr. Abigail Beard.

Scott County pulled away in the second half to defeat Berea by the score of 45-34. There were six lead changes and three ties in this game. Scott County shot 35.7% from the field including five of 20 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 16 Berea turnovers. Berea shot 30.3% from the field including two of eight from beyond the arc. The Lady Pirates connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored nine points off 14 Scott County turnovers.

Tyra Young led Scott County with 10 points, 13 rebounds, and two steals. Belle Banner added nine points and seven rebounds. Maleiyah Moore recorded six points, two rebounds, and two steals. N;mya Summers chipped in with six points. 5-7 Fr. Dymon Percell recorded six points and three rebounds.

Abigail Beard led Berea with 12 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and three assists. Sophie Brewer added nine points, two rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Lauren Stepp recorded six points and six rebounds.
