Lexington Christian Academy coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-2 So. Hagan Preston, 6-2 So. Andersen Green, 6-4 Sr. Tyler Hall, 5-11 So. Saxton Howard, and 6-0 Jr. Connor Martin. South Laurel coach Jeff Davis countered with 6-2 Sr. Caden Jones, 6-1 Sr. Eli Gover, 6-6 So. Jordan Mabe, 5-11 Sr. Ashton Garland, and 6-0 Sr. Parker Payne.

South Laurel outscored Lexington Christian Academy 19-11 in the third quarter on their way to a 59-50 victory. There were five ties and four lead changes in this game. South Laurel shot 54.1% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 17 LCA turnovers. LCA shot 51.2% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on five of 11 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 19 South Laurel turnovers.

Jordan Mabe led South Laurel with 26 points including 12 of 13 free throws, eight rebounds, and three assists. Parker Payne added 10 points, four rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Caden Jones recorded nine points, five rebounds, and two steals.

Andersen Green led LCA with 14 points and seven rebounds. Hagan Preston added 12 points, three rebounds, and six steals. Saxton Howard recorded eight points, four rebounds, and three assists.
