Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Tyra Young, 5-6 Fr. Belle Banner, 6-0 Fr, Kierstin Young, 5-7 So. N’mya Summers, and 5-7 So. Maleiyah Moore. Madison Southern coach Josh Curtis countered with 5-7 Sr. Jada Carter, 5-7 Sr. Tara Wooten, 5-11 Sr. Bella Moberly, 5-4 Fr. Hadley French, and 5-5 So. Ashlan Estep.
Madison Southern led 34-6 at halftime on their way to a 63-34 victory over Scott County. Madison Southern shot 47.9% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 25 Scott County turnovers. Scott County shot 30% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored six points off 10 Madison Southern turnovers.
Hadley French led Madison Southern with 21 points, three assists, and five steals. Bella Moberly added 14 points and four rebounds. Ashlan Estep recorded nine points and two rebounds. 5-10 Fr. Laci Sandlin chipped in with six points and three rebounds. 5-8 Sr. Megan Correll added three points, seven rebounds, and two steals.
Maleiyah Moore led Scott County with nine points and four rebounds. Belle Banner added six points on two three point baskets. N’mya Summers recorded five points and three rebounds.
