Berea coach Dammian Stepp started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Sophie Brewer, 5-7 Jr. Abigail Beard, 6-0 Jr. Lauren Stepp, 5-1 Jr. Maddy King, and 5-6 Jr. Mandy Newman. Madison Southern coach Josh Curtis countered with 5-7 Sr. Jada Carter, 5-7 Sr. Tara Wooten, 5-11 Sr. Bella Moberly. 5-4 Fr. Hadley French, and 5-5 So. Ashlan Estep.
Madison Southern defeated Berea by the score of 57-13. Madison Southern shot 52.9% from the field including seven of 12 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 14 of 17 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 17 Berea turnovers. Berea shot 11.1% from the field including zero of 10 from beyond the arc. The Lady Pirates connected on seven of nine free throws, pulled down 12 rebounds, and scored three points off nine Madison Southern turnovers.
Hadley French led Madison Southern with 21 points including five three point baskets, five rebounds,five assists, and two steals. 5-8 Sr. Megan Correll added 10 points including six of seven free throws and three rebounds. Jada Carter recorded nine points including five of six free throws, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. 5-10 Fr. Laci Sandlin chipped in with six points, three rebounds, and two steals. Bella Moberly added five points, six rebounds, and two assists.
Sophie Brewer led Berea with six points and five rebounds. Mandy Newman added three points, three rebounds, and two assists.
