Berea coach Eric Fields started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Cannon Cummins, 5-9 Fr. Jack Hemenway, 6-3 So. Tommy Banderman, 5-8 Fr. Finley Blevins, and 5-8 So. Cameron Puckett. Madison Southern coach Bill Bevins countered with 6-3 Jr. Jay Rose, 6-1 Jr. Zach Hudson, 6-5 Sr. Brett Erslan, 5-8 So. Casen Nobbe, and 6-0 Jr. Braden Hudson.

Madison Southern led 47-46 early in the final quarter but pulled away to earn a 73-58 victory over Berea. The victory may have been costly as Jay Rose left the game in the second half with an ankle injury. Madison Southern shot 47.9% from the field including three of 17 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on 24 of 29 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 21 Berea turnovers. Berea shot 37.5% from the field including two of 18 from beyond the arc. The Pirates connected on 14 of 20 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 20 Madison Southern turnovers.

Zach Hudson led Madison Southern with 22 points including three three point baskets and 7/8 free throws, eight rebounds, and two assists. Jay Rose added 16 points including 6/6 free throws, three rebounds, and three steals. Brett Erslan recorded 11 points, five rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and two steals. 6-0 Jr. Avery Davidson chipped in with nine points, four rebounds, and two assists. Braden Hudson added nine points, six rebounds, eight assists, and five steals.

Cameron Puckett led Berea with 17 points including 7/9 free throws, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Tommy Banderman added 15 points, nine rebounds, and two steals. Jack Hemenway recorded 11 points and two rebounds. Finley Blevins chipped in with nine points, three rebounds, and two assists.
