Western Hills coach Geoff Cody started the following lineup: 6-5 So. Javeon Campbell, 6-3 Sr. David Jackson, 6-4 Sr. Walter Campbell, 5-11 Jr. Austin Stone, and 6-1 So. Elijah Thompson. Great Crossing coach Steve Page countered with 6-7 Jr. Jeremiah Godfrey, 6-5 So. Vince Dawson III, 6-11 So. Malachi Moreno, 5-9 So. Junius Burrell, and 5-4 So. Gage Richardson.

Great Crossing defeated Western Hills 78-73 in a triple overtime thriller. There were 15 lead changes and 18 ties in this game. Great Crossing shot 41.4% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 19 Western Hills turnovers. Western Hills shot 39.7% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc. The Wolverines connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 55 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Great Crossing turnovers.

Vince Dawson III led Great Crossing with 24 points including two three point baskets, 10 rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Gage Richardson added 14 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Malachi Moreno recorded 13 points, eight rebounds, and 11 blocked shots. Junius Burrell chipped in with 13 points, five rebounds, and six assists. Jeremiah Godfrey added eight points, five rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Walter Campbell led Western Hills with 27 points, 25 rebounds, and two steals. Javeon Campbell added 17 points, 16 rebounds, and five blocked shots. Elijah Thompson recorded 17 points and three rebounds. David Jackson chipped in with 11 points.
