Lexington Christian Academy coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-2 So. Hagan Preston, 6-2 So. Andersen Green, 6-4 Sr. Tyler Hall, 5-11 So. Saxton Howard, and 6-0 Sr. Connor Martin. Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Jr. Tyler Doyle, 6-5 Sr. Hudson Sparks, 7-1 Sr. Reece Potter, 6-0 Jr. John Reinhart, and 6-3 Jr. Brody Turner.
Lexington Christian Academy attempted to control the tempo early to no avail as Lexington Catholic led 35-12 at halftime on their way to a 61-39 victory. Lexington Catholic shot 59.5% from the field including eight of 17 from the three point line. The Knights connected on three of eight free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 LCA turnovers. LCA shot 51.7% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 15 rebounds, and scored five points off five Lexington Catholic turnovers.
John Reinhart led Lexington Catholic with 23 points including five three point baskets, two assists, and four steals. Reece Potter added 13 points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots. Tyler Doyle recorded 11 points and eight assists. Hudson Sparks added seven points, seven rebounds, and three assists.
Saxton Howard led LCA with 10 points including two three point baskets. Tyler Hall added eight points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
