Bryan Station coach Serena Sandusky started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Kailyn Gentry, 5-8 So. Jailenn Green, 6-3 So. Albertine Cyuzozo, 5-6 Sr. Emily Gomez, and 5-6 Sr. Makari Murphy. Frederick Douglass coach Daryl Moberly countered with 5-9 Sr. Jermyra Christian, 5-9 So. Amayah Maxwell, 5-8 Jr. Victory Sledge, 5-4 So. Kate Baker, and 5-7 So. Niah Rhodes.

Frederick Douglass pulled away in the second half to defeat Bryan Station by the score of 56-43. Frederick Douglass shot 42.2% from the field including two of 16 from the three point line. The Lady Broncos connected on 16 of 26 from the free throw line, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine Bryan Station turnovers. Bryan Station shot 25.4% from the field including three of 19 from beyond the arc. The Lady Defenders connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Frederick Douglass turnovers.

Jermyra Christian led Frederick Douglass with 20 points including seven of 15 free throws, five rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Victory Sledge added 16 points, six rebounds, and three blocked shots. Niah Rhodes recorded 10 points and four rebounds. Amayah Maxwell chipped in with four points and eight rebounds. 5-9 8th Grader Jaylee Knowles added two points, 10 rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Albertine Cyuzozo led Bryan Station with 23 points and 13 rebounds. Jailenn Green added 10 points, four rebounds, and four steals. Kailyn Gentry recorded six points and six rebounds.
