Frederick Douglass coach Daryl Moberly started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Jermyra Christian, 5-9 So. Amayah Maxwell, 6-2 Jr. Ayanna-Sarai Darrington, 5-4 So. Kate Baker, and 5-7 So. Niah Rhodes. Lexington Catholic coach Lee Tegt countered with 5-10 Sr. Katherine Truitt, 5-7 Sr. Lucy Nash, 5-9 Jr. Lydia Kennedy, 5-4 Sr. Mary Martin Hampton, and 5-4 Jr. Sydney Elbert.

Frederick Douglass defeated Lexington Catholic by the score of 66-51. Frederick Douglass shot 34.5% from the field including three of 18 from the three point line. The Broncos connected on 25 of 35 free throws, pulled down 55 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Lexington Catholic turnovers. Lexington Catholic shot 27.1% from the field including two of 17 from beyond the arc. The Lady Knights connected on 17 of 28 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 25 Frederick Douglass turnovers. (Lucy Nash, Lydia Kennedy, and Mary Martin Hampton all fouled out).

Ayanna-Sarai Darrington led Frederick Douglass with 27 points, 29 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Niah Rhodes added 13 points including three three point baskets and four of four free throws. Jermyra Christian recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, two blocks, and two steals. 5-8 Jr. Victory Sledge chipped in with seven points and four rebounds. Kate Baker recorded five points, three rebounds, and four assists.

Katherine Truitt led Lexington Catholic with 23 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and six steals. Lucy Nash added nine points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three steals. Mary Martin Hampton recorded six points, six rebounds, two assists, and four steals. Lydia Kennedy chipped in with six points, five rebounds, and two steals.
