Tates Creek scored 24 unanswered points in the second half in a 37-7 victory over Madison Southern. Tates Creek recorded 17 first downs and 353 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized 10 times for 75 yards and had two passes intercepted. Madison Southern recorded six first downs and 93 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized seven times for 48 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Mar’Quevion Smith led Tates Creek’s ground game with 64 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries. Logan Julian carried the ball four times for 38 yards. Andrew Witherington added 26 yards on four carries. Andrew Witherington completed 16 of 27 passes for 227 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions. Thomas Seigler caught five passes for 40 yards. Luke Cooper added four receptions for 80 yards and one touchdown. Senator Clay recorded two receptions for 53 yards. Mar’Quevion Smith chipped in with two catches for 15 yards and a touchdown. JT Cooper added a 25 yard touchdown reception. Mar’Quevion Smith returned two punts for 27 yards with a long return of 17 yards. Emmanuel Castro kicked 4-5 extra points, added a 32 yard field goal, and kicked off seven times for a 55.6 average with three touch backs. Cardale Wright led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Kaden Anderson added four solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Logan Julian recorded three solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss and intercepted a pass he returned six yards. D’Vaugun Flowers chipped in with three solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.

Ethan Moore led the Madison Southern ground game with 21 yards on 13 carries. Ethan Moore completed four of 12 passes for 43 yards with one interception. Avery Davidson caught one pass for 17 yards. RJ Blair returned two kickoffs for 37 yards with a long return of 19 yards. Brayden Hall returned two kickoffs for 33 yards with a long return of 22 yards. Stephen Whitehead led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles. Preston Williams added five solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a loss of two yards and scored on a two yard interception return. Eric Barnes recorded four solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards. Gino Ballard and Lukas Mullins each recorded four solo and one assisted tackles. Zack Smith intercepted a pass.
