Highlands continues to roll with a 58-7 victory over Conner as the Bluebirds scored the last 51 points of the game. Highlands recorded 403 yards while Conner had 208 yards of total offense.
Cameron Giesler led Highland’s ground game with 113 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Tayden Lorenzen carried the ball once for 32 yards. Brody Benke scored two touchdowns on the ground. Brody Benke completed five of six passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns. Rio Litmer completed nine of 11 passes for 76 yards and two touchdowns. Cameron Giesler caught one pass for 56 yards and a touchdown. Carson Class added three receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown. Matteo Matteoli recorded three catches for 30 yards and a touchdown. Adam Surrey caught two passes for 26 yards and a touchdown and scored on a 75 yard punt return.
Cordion Abernathy led Conner’s ground game with 60 yards on 12 carries. Wyatt Hatfield carried the ball 11 times for 27 yards. Wyatt Hatfield completed nine of 21 passes for 123 yards and one touchdown. Chase Caplinger caught five passes for 106 yards. Elian Ruzindana caught two passes for 15 yards and a touchdown. Cordell Abernathy led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles, Elliot Bucher added seven solo tackles. Evan Leitz recorded four solo and three assisted tackles.
