Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-8 Sr. Claire Russell, 6-3 Sr. Angelina Pelayo, 5-4 Fr. Amirah Jordan, and 5-10 Sr. Reagan Bender. Southwestern coach Junior Molden countered with 5-7 Fr. Kylie Dalton, 5-7 Jr. Jordan McDonald, 6-1 Sr. Payton Acey, 5-5 Jr. Jessalyn Flynn, and 5-7 Fr. Jaelyn Dye.

Sacred Heart Academy led 24-16 at halftime but pulled away in the second half for a 60-23 victory over Southwestern. Sacred Heart shot 41.4% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 19 Sothwestern turnovers. Southwestern shot 21.1% from the field including five of 16 from beyond the arc. The Warriors connected on two of six free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored two points off 10 Sacred Heart turnovers.

ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart with 21 points including three three point baskets, and nine rebounds. Reagan Bender added 12 points, four rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Angelina Pelayo recorded 10 points, four rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and two steals. Claire Russell chipped in with four points, six rebounds, and two steals. 5-11 Jr. Morgan Frey pulled down seven rebounds.

Payton Acey led Southwestern with seven points and five rebounds. 5-6 Jr. Megan Loudermilk added six points on two three point baskets. Jaelyn Dye added five points.
