Trimble County coach Zach Adair started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Addison Edmondson, 5-7 Jr. Jolie Wilcoxsin, 5-8 Jr. Trinity Crawford, 5-3 Sr. Payton Butters, and 5-5 Sr. Kimberly Rodriguez. Lexington Christian coach Tim Bradshaw countered with 5-9 8th Grade Jeriko Castle, 5-6 Jr. Ella Gabbert, 5-9 Jr, Sophie Pridemore, 5-6 Jr. Chapel Brown, and 5-7 Jr. Claire Roberts.
Lexington Christian led 20-19 at halftime but pulled away in the second half to earn a 52-38 victory over Trimble County. LCA shot 30.9% from the field including five of 20 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 13 of 18 from the free throw line, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 15 Trimble County turnovers. Trimble County shot 28.8% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc. They connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 16 LCA turnovers.
Claire Roberts led LCA with 15 points including two three point baskets, eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Ella Gabbert added 13 points including two three point baskets. Six rebounds, and two assists. Chapel Brown recorded 10 points and seven rebounds. Sophie Pridemore chipped in with seven points and 16 rebounds. Jeriko Castle added seven points, three rebounds, and three assists.
Addison Edmondson led Trimble County with 18 points, five rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals. Payton Butters added seven points, six rebounds, and two steals. 5-4 Fr. Ainslie Stark recorded seven points, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Kimberly Rodriguez recorded four points, five rebounds, and three blocked shots.
