Madison Central coach Scott True Sr. started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Eden Carter 5-7 Jr. Brooke Campbell, 5-9 Jr. Cameryn Ridderikhoff, 5-7 Jr. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 Jr. Nataya Strader. Rockcastle County coach Chrysti Noble countered with 5-10 So. Macy Spivey, 5-10 So. Taylor King, 6-1 Sr. Talynne Shearer, 5-9 Sr. Haven King, and 5-10 Sr. Camryn Cash.

Madison Central hit some key free throws down the stretch to earn a tough road victory over Rockcastle County by the score of 63-59. Madison Central led 35-24 at halftime but the Lady Rockets roared back after the intermission to make the outcome close. There were three ties and six lead changes in this game. Madison Central shot 48.8% from the field including four of 15 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on 19 of 28 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 22 Rockcastle County turnovers. Rockcastle County shot 43.2% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc. The Lady Rockets connected on 23 of 30 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 17 Madison Central turnovers.

Nataya Strader led Madison Central with 24 points including seven of eight free throws, five rebounds, two assists, and four steals. Brittany Campbell added 14 points, six rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Cameryn Ridderikhoff recorded 10 points, six rebounds, and five steals.

Talynne Shearer led Rockcastle County with 24 points including 11 of 15 free throws, 12 rebounds, and four steals. Macy Spivey added 13 points including two three point baskets. Taylor King recorded 12 points including eight of eight free throws, eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Camryn Cash chipped in with five points, three rebounds, and three steals. Haven King added five points and two assists.
